Wireless Network Development Engineer , ONE-NAT

Join Amazon's Network Access Technology team and build automation that keeps the world's largest enterprise wireless network running smoothly and healing itself. You'll design and deploy next-generation Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience - 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems - 4+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale enterprise wireless network environments - 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with deep expertise in wireless (802.11ac/ax/be) and wired (802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS) access technologies Preferred: - Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc. - Experience with one or more of the following wireless access points/controllers, switches, routers, server load balancer, and firewall vendor platforms: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Arista, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc. - Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Cisco, Juniper MIST, or similar) including controller-based and cloud-managed architectures - Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, site survey methodologies, and wireless capacity planning Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
