WHS Leader (NSW & QLD), Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)

Our Work Health and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 8+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations - 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management - Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment Preferred: - Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 1000 people - Master’s degree - Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. - Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization - Certified Safety Professional - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders. - Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies - Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
