UX Designer – Prime Design Systems , Worldwide Prime UX

The Amazon Prime UX Design team is at the heart of the Prime membership. We innovate and design on behalf of our customers and are relentlessly focused on improving the membership experience to delight Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of design experience - Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices - Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders - AI fluent - proficiency in AI design tools, including advanced features such as variants, auto-layout, component properties, and design tokens - Experience creating, organizing, and documenting reusable design components for multi-product or multi-platform use - Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and platform conventions Preferred: - Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs - Experience working with time-tracking/resource management tools - Experience building or contributing to a design system at scale (multi-team, multi-market) - Familiarity with design token workflows, metadata schemas, and design-to-code pipelines - Comfort with code environments: ability to use an IDE or CLI to build plugins, scripts, or automation tools - Exposure to AI-assisted design workflows or agentic tooling Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
