We are seeking a UX Designer II to design the experiences behind Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of design experience - Online portfolio demonstrating design craft, problem-solving process, and shipped work - Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and interactive prototyping; familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping or coding tools to accelerate concept exploration and prototype development - Experience gathering user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps - Experience leading design projects from concept through execution, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and CX specifications - Proficiency with current accessibility standards Preferred: - Experience designing AI-assisted product surfaces where the system surfaces ranked outputs, confidence signals, generated content, or automated actions to users, and where the design must communicate uncertainty clearly without eroding trust - Experience designing for high-volume or transactional workflows where error states, partial completion, recovery paths, and time-sensitive actions are first-class design requirements - Experience designing for users with a wide range of digital literacy, including mobile-first experiences for non-technical or frontline users - Familiarity with design systems: using shared component libraries, identifying gaps, and contributing improvements rather than working around them - Prior work in HR technology, consumer products at scale, retail, logistics, or any domain where both volume and the human cost of a poor experience are high Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
