Tax Data Analyst, Global Tax Services

Global Tax Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Tax Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of tax compliance, data management, and systems operations Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Knowledge of strong understanding of tax compliance principles, regulations, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions - Experience in international indirect tax planning and strong understanding of or practical experience with tax laws in other countries - Experience a compliance focused tax role in a multinational and/or professional organization - Experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems, or experience in profee auditing, coding, and documentation requirements Preferred: - professional tax, accounting or legal qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant (CA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) or similar) - Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field, or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
