System Development Engineer - EDI, AmazonLink

Establishing and maintaining electronic connectivity between vendors, transportation carriers, sellers, and buyers, is one of the most difficult tasks in today’s modern supply chain. Different industries Basic qualifications: - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience (non-internship) in professional software development - Experience working with EDIFACT, ANSI X12 standards, especially V4010 and above, including Order and Financial series documents such as 850, 855, 856, 810 and others. - Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols; AS2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and Web services. Preferred: - Experience with distributed systems at scale - Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems) - Middleware business process workflow design and development experience - Experience writing functional design documents, create/maintain EDI maps and specifications, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems. - Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity, with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting - Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services to drive business value Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
