SysDev Engineer II, Leo Networking Software

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s Low Earth Orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to Basic qualifications: - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience with Linux/Unix - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - Experience with network monitoring and automation scripting using SQL, Python, or Bash - In-depth understanding of cloud networking concepts Preferred: - Experience with distributed systems at scale - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent, or experience with networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, cURL or related) at an advanced level - 4+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience - 3+ years of satellite communications ground systems and operations experience - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure, or experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
