Supplier Risk Manager, GPO Global Supplier Management

The Supplier Risk Manager is a senior-level role within Global Supplier Management (GSM), part of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO). This role owns the end-to-end design, development, and operationalization Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field, or 3+ years of Amazon experience - Experience creating and implementing large-scale programs - Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects - Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma - Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - • 5+ years of experience in supplier risk management, supply chain risk, procurement, compliance, or a related discipline - • Experience with quantitative risk assessment methodologies and risk scoring frameworks Preferred: - 3+ years of supply chain management within a procurement organization experience - Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship - 5+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience - Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency - Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions - MBA degree or above in related fields Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
