Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Global Corporate Procurement

Are you a Strategic Sourcing superstar looking to make a big impact?As Amazon rapidly becomes the world's largest consumer of corporate services, our Global Corporate Procurement team is seeking a Strategic Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience - Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis - Experience with spend analysis and category management across indirect spend categories - Proficiency with e-sourcing or procurement technology platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Fairmarkit, or similar) Preferred: - Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research - Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results, or experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results across multiple business areas - 5+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience - 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in a large-scale corporate or technology environment - Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable cost savings and increasing spend under management - Experience with practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.) - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data and identify savings opportunities Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
