SSL Production Lab Engineer, Space Simulation Lab

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the Basic qualifications: - -Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks - -1 year + of experience in hardware development, industrial equipment maintenance, space/aerospace maintenance, or another hands-on engineering environment. - -Knowledge of and experience with measurement and inspection devices (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, DAQ systems). - Experience developing, troubleshooting, and operating thermal and vacuum chambers - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - -Experience operating, troubleshooting, and installing dynamics equipment. (vibration tables, shakers, shock testing) Preferred: - -Experience with networking - -Experience scoping, purchasing, validating, and commissioning equipment - -Experience with using dynamics equipment to perform development testing - -Experience troubleshooting daq systems, network switches, data cables, accelerometers and other components. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
