Sr. UX Designer, North American Stores Design

Amazon North America Stores (NAS) Design organization is seeking our next senior UX designer. Our team is dedicated to being the beacon of design excellence within the highly visual, emotive, and impassioned Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience - Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices - Knowledge of usability principles and techniques - Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards - Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps - Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar - Experience with multiple cycles of platform or product design Preferred: - Experience with UX design of complex workflows - Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design - Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery - Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices - Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
