Sr. Transportation Manager

Our Sr. Operations Managers are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives. The Sr. Operations Managers is responsible for all aspects of operation or functions at the Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment - Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies - Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations Preferred: - Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situation - Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation - Prior leadership development training or participation - Track record of effectively leading an operation comprising both salaried and hourly staff of at least 100 - Demonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
