National Security customers are moving their most sensitive, mission-critical workloads to AWS — and they need a technical advisor who understands both the technology and the stakes. As our Enterprise Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of technical engineering experience - Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) - Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph - 5+ years designing, developing, operating, and/or consulting in support of distributed applications Preferred: - Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead - Experience working in a high pace DevOps - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership - Experience with AWS or cloud technologies - 7+ years of technical engineering experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) or more of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security/ Applications Development in a distributed systems environment - Experience in a 24x7 operational support environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
