Sr. Tech Infra Program Manager, Non-Standard Infrastructure Delivery (NSID)

We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience - 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experience - Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing business risks and tradeoffs - 5+ years managing complex, cross-functional infrastructure build programs where strategy and deployment plans were not fully defined, requiring the ability to independently drive clarity, define scope, and deliver outcomes with limited guidance. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent technical experience), with demonstrated ability to evaluate whether a technical design fits a given deployment scenario and to identify when deployment issues stem from underlying design gaps — particularly in environments with high variability and incomplete requirements Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting - 7+ years of experience in technical infrastructure delivery, data center construction, telecommunications, or mission-critical facilities - Track record of building program management mechanisms from scratch to support a growing and diversifying portfolio of project types - Familiarity with AWS infrastructure concepts, data center design principles, or cloud computing architecture - Experience defining and documenting new deployment processes or build plans for infrastructure products where no established playbook existed, including making trade-off recommendations across competing priorities at the organizational level Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
