Healthcare is complex, but paying for it shouldn't be. Amazon Health Services is looking for a Senior System Analyst to operationalize the financial engine that powers healthcare billing. You will translate Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science), or experience with SQL - Experience with documenting accounting conclusions, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions - 5+ years of experience in system analysis, business analysis, or technical configurations — with a focus on translating business requirements into functional specifications Preferred: - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment - Experience working with configurable systems (billing platforms, rules engines, or similar) - Familiarity with healthcare billing standards (CPT/ICD coding, fee schedules, payer adjudication rules) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
