Sr. Supplier Mfg Engineer, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial engineering experience - 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - Demonstrated experience leading structured problem-solving (DMAIC, 8D, A3, or equivalent) from problem definition through sustained corrective action - Hands-on experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing interpretation in a production or supplier-facing context Preferred: - Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets - Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities - Experience working in high-rate production environments with mixed electro-mechanical assemblies - Familiarity with PFMEA, statistical process control, and DOE methodologies applied to production process optimization - Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
