Sr. Software Dev Engineer, Ring Cloud Connectivity Org

Ring is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Cloud Connectivity organization in Toronto, where you'll lead the design and delivery of large-scale, customer-facing platforms that power Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Experience with Generative AI-first development practices. - 2+ years Experience with one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, React Native, or cross-platform UI toolkits. Preferred: - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with real-time data processing, streaming architectures, or low-latency event-driven systems. - Experience integrating ML or computer vision model outputs into production applications. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
