Sr. Project Manager, AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline - 10+ years of design, construction or program management in mission critical facilities experience - Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings - Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities - Experience defining data center system-level architecture, specifying/documenting performance and equipment requirements to vendors and contractors, communicating conceptual designs, and creating/maintaining project documentation before, during and after construction Preferred: - Experience in construction management or construction program management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants - Experience directly related to the design or construction of large data center facilities, either colocation or client owned/operated - Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships - Experience leading large, fast-moving projects - Knowledge of Indian as well as state building codes and regulations including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes and Safety Codes - Experience with large scale mechanical and power systems Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
