Sr. Program Manager, Tax E-Compliance

The Amazon Tax department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment. Amazon Tax E-Compliance is seeking a Sr. Program Manager with experience in process improvement, VAT compliance and reporting, Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Bachelor's degree Preferred: - Experience working within a high-growth, technology company - Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams - 6+ years of experience in two out of three: Finance (particularly Tax and Accounting), Program Management, or IT - Experience in tax compliance and reporting, external and internal audit, SOX, accounting month end close, controls and reconciliation process improvement, or financial systems integration - Experience in process and tooling / template design, and / or facilitating trainings and workshops on such content - Experience with Microsoft Project (or another project planning software), Excel and Word Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
