Sr Program Manager, Global Finance Transformation (GFT)

Join our Global Finance Transformation Program at Amazon where you'll drive efficiency through process improvement and automation projects for the Accounting function. As a Sr Program Manager, you'll leverage Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles - Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions - 8+ years of program or project management experience - Experience driving continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results Preferred: - Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan - Experience communicating results to senior leadership - Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferred Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
