Amazon Leo is building the world's most advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the globe. Basic qualifications: - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of wireless communications systems and implementation experience - 5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience - 3+ years of wireless communications systems and implementation experience Preferred: - Experience working directly with engineering teams - Experience in project or program management - Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders - Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry - In-depth knowledge and working experience with 5G device OS/networking software stack, troubleshooting, voice, emergency services and call flows including related protocols for cell acquisition, RACH, registration, mobility, and data session establishment. - Experience with Android OS, RIL, and mobility handover. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
