From individual households to Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field - 5+ years of demonstrated experience taking products from engineering development through prototype, qualification, and production - 5+ years experience working with external suppliers to develop/select components for spacecraft design or related industries - Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing process development - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications - Experience developing work instructions, manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and inspection methods - Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action using methods such as 5-Why, 8D, and fishbone analysis - Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work effectively with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Preferred: - Experience with spacecraft, satellites, launch vehicles, or other high-reliability hardware - Experience with aerospace/space wire harness workmanship standards, such as NASA-STD-8739.4, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
