Sr. Manager of Crewing, Live Sports Production

Come be a part of Amazon's dynamic Live Sports Production team. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager of Crewing to serve as the centralized crewing authority across all of our live sports properties.The Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience - Experience as a producer, production manager, line producer or in production risk management - Experience in live sports production operations, crewing, or production management. Deep knowledge of broadcast industry roles and positions, industry standard rates, and crew structures across remote, studio, and event production formats. Established network of relationships across production service providers and crewing vendors, with fluency in regional and local market dynamics. Proven experience managing crewing across large-scale live events overseeing 50+ production personnel. Track record of working with third-party production vendors; experience with contracts and rate negotiation. Experience managing crew logistics across multiple simultaneous productions or properties. Experience with both union and non-union crew across live productions, with a working knowledge of applicable collective bargaining agreements and labor guidelines. Strong understanding of workforce compliance requirements related to third-party labor in broadcast production. Preferred: - Experience leading large projects and facilitate group meetings - Experience with workforce management or crew scheduling platforms. Background in rate negotiation at scale across diverse production formats and vendor relationships. Experience in a streaming/OTT production environment or non-traditional broadcast operation. Ability to issue-spot and escalate matters that carry risk impact to the broader organization. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
