Sr. Harness Design Engineer, Harness Design

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to Basic qualifications: - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures - 5+ years of experience in the selection of wiring based on current de-rating, voltage drop analysis, shielding effectiveness, temperature, environment, outgassing and mechanical strength. Preferred: - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience with JIRA, or related collaborative workflow - 5+ years of experience in the design, development, test, qualification and acceptance tests, workmanship criteria and integration of spacecraft harnessing. - 5+ years experience working with external suppliers to develop/select components for spacecraft design or related industries. - Experience in developing mechanical harness routing solutions for dynamic applications including across articulated joints and hinged-line deployments. - Experience with Siemens NX CAD and formboard creation, Team center PLM and MES systems - Experience with Siemens Capital Software Suite - Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
