Sr Fab Safety Eng, Center for Quantum Computing

The Center for Quantum Computing (CQC) is on a mission to build a useful quantum computers. Central to this mission is our semiconductor fabrication clean room, where microfabrication processes are used Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience, or Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 - 3+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field - Experience conducting safety assessments/reviews (e.g., JHAs, PHAs, and MOC) in a manufacturing or laboratory setting - Experience developing and delivering safety training programs - 5+ years of experience in semiconductor fabrication, microelectronics manufacturing, or comparable clean room environments Preferred: - Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent professional certification - Direct experience in a semiconductor fab (Class 100 / ISO 5 or better clean room environment) - Experience with toxic gas monitoring systems, gas cabinet safety, and exhaust abatement systems - Familiarity with SEMI S2/S8 equipment safety standards - Experience implementing safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) - Track record of driving safety culture change and achieving measurable improvements in safety metrics - Experience working in a rapid-growth R&D environment where processes and equipment are frequently changing Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
