Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer, Prime Air, Avionics Hardware

As a Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development lifecycle across design, validation, and manufacturing for flight-critical avionics systems. Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - 5+ years of hardware engineering experience Preferred: - Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Experience in PCB design, including schematic capture, stack-up, and board layout. - Proficiency with EE engineering design tools (e.g. Altium, OrCAD, MATLAB/Simulink). - Experience with aerospace or aviation electronics and applicable standards (DO-160, DO-254). - Experience in sensor design and integration for aerospace applications (air data sensors, cameras, radar, IMUs, LIDAR). - Experience in reliability engineering, including accelerated life testing, failure rate modeling, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). - Experience in electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS) design and harness integration. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
