Sr Electrical Hardware Development Engineer, Amazon Prime Air

Prime Air is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware and related Avionic systems and architecture for Prime Air Drones. This includes, Avionic compute and Avionics Basic qualifications: - Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability - Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - 6+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience - 6+ years of electrical engineering work experience in Consumer Electronics, Power Electronics, Robotics, Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Communications fields or combination thereof. Preferred: - Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience with the project management of technical projects - Experience collaborating with the ECAD/physical board designer and able to review PCB designs with Allegro, CAM350, or equivalent - 5+ years of developing electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (2010 or newer) experience - 5+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience - Experience in new hardware product development Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
