Sr Applied Scientist, Product Detail Page

Amazon.com’s Product Detail Page team is looking for talented, motivated and passionate applied scientist to be part of the design and development of a highly scalable multi-tiered shopping application Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience - PhD, or Master's degree - Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language - Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning - Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals - Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing Preferred: - Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc. - Experience with conducting research in a corporate setting Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
