Ring is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Cloud Connectivity organization in Toronto, where you'll build and deliver large-scale, customer-facing platforms that power how millions of Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience with AI-first development practices Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Experience with one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, React Native, or similar Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
