Alexa for Shopping (AFS) is a generative AI-powered shopping assistant in the Amazon Shopping app designed to help answer a variety of shopping-related questions. AFS makes it easy for customers to find Basic qualifications: - Experience in professional, non-internship software development - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Preferred: - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
