Software Dev Engineer II, Emerging Device Software

Amazon lab126 Platform Software team is looking for Software Development Engineer to lead the design and architecture of new consumer devices. You will drive technical direction and feature roadmap for Basic qualifications: - 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of Android development experience - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Preferred: - 3+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience - Master's degree in computer science or equivalent - Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
