Snr. Civil Engineer, Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of project management or project lead work including RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams and facilitating meetings experience - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Professional Engineering or Architectural License - Bachelor degree in civil engineering Preferred: - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks - Experience managing and or coordinating projects in a fast pace environment - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
