Site Procurement Manager, Site Procurement Operations

Do you want to join a fast paced Global Procurement Organization team focused on Amazon Operations? By joining the Site Procurement Operations Team, you have the opportunity to lead and deliver strategic Basic qualifications: - Speak, write, and read fluently in German - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent) - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) - Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis - Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management - Experience in contracts management - Bachelor’s Degree with Procurement or Supply Chain or significant Procurement experience, Preferred: - Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields - Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization - Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects - Experience working in a matrixed organization - Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Experience in procurement and purchasing, including supplier relationship management - Experience identifying and resolving complex issues - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - If no Procurement-related degree (or on top of it), CIPS/EIPM accreditation or equivalent functional knowledge or accreditation. - Experience of ERP (SAP/Coupa) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
