Amazon LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the Basic qualifications: - 1 or more years experience in mechanical maintenance, industrial equipment repair, or aerospace ground support equipment. - Proficiency in using torque wrenches, hex bit tools, gauges, and mechanical inspection instruments. - Ability to read and interpret maintenance plans, SOPs, and technical drawings. - Experience with crane operations and critical lifts (certification preferred). - Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. - Familiarity with corrosion prevention, seal inspection/replacement, and mechanical troubleshooting. - Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and in compliance with PPE and hazard control measures. Preferred: - Aerospace or satellite ground support equipment experience - Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance requirements. - Prior experience working in a warehouse or production environment with high-value hardware. - Experience performing precision leak checks and hardware torque verification. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
