Senior UX Designer, Kiro

Kiro is an agentic AI from AWS that turns prompts into structured requirements, designs, and sequenced tasks, Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of design experience - A portfolio that demonstrates deep audience understanding and early-stage design thinking: concept models, ecosystem maps, user stories, experience frameworks, and how you translate research into design strategy, not just polished final UI - Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows across multiple platforms or surfaces, with strong information architecture and interaction design skills - Experience designing for products where AI acts with meaningful autonomy, not just chatbot UI, but systems that plan, execute, and verify work on behalf of users - Proficiency with multiple prototyping tools and methods, with the judgment to choose the right fidelity and approach for the situation Preferred: - Experience in designing cross platform experiences - Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature - Experience designing developer tools, IDEs, command-line products, or open-source developer experiences - Track record of flexibly adapting design process and methods based on the problem at hand Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
