Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, Manufacturing Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience - Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or another technical field - Experience in technical program management - Experience in supply chain such as contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations - Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making - Knowledge of materials management processes, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management, and material requirements planning - Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems - Experience working across teams and influencing teams that are not your own - Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders Preferred: - Master's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, or Master's degree or above in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent - Experience in a data center or other critical environment, or experience in electrical or mechanical engineering - Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, or experience managing teams - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners - Experience with explainable machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies and tools - Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization and logistics or equivalent - Travel up to 20% of the time - Experience with build plan management tools, MRP/ERP systems, or custom production tracking systems Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
