Senior Solutions Architect, AWS Industries, Telco

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Solutions Architect to partner with our Telecommunications and Media customers. In this highly technical and customer-facing role, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries - Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients Preferred: - Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or related fields - 3+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services experience - Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects - Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification - Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers - Experience building and operating a cloud-based architecture - 5+ Years of experience working with Machine Learning and Data Science communities. - Experience writing and publishing technical whitepapers or patents Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
