Senior Software Engineer, Bottlerocket

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the Bottlerocket team, where you'll build and evolve a purpose-built Linux-based operating system for running containers. Bottlerocket is fully Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred: - Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles - Experience with open source tools and resources - Experience in Linux/RHEL, or experience in Ubuntu/Solaris and experience with threat modeling and penetration testing Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
