Senior Software Development Engineer - Release Engineering, Network Product Development

Automate the future of global networks: control deployment changes across millions of devices, monitor performance at unprecedented scale, and apply data and machine learning to keep the network healthy. Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, or experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems Preferred: - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Experience building complex highly-scalable systems that involve predictive models or applications of machine learning - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
