Senior Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst

Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience - Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. - 5+ years of applying key financial schedule indicators to analyses experience - 5+ years of US Government contracts performing program planning and scheduling, EVM, and Risk & Opp Mgmt experience - 5+ years of hands on experience with program planning/scheduling tools (i.e. Cobra, Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.) - 5+ years performing Critical path analysis, generating schedule analysis to advise Pm's on options to improve schedule performance and managing schedule metrics Preferred: - 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience - 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
