AWS Private Pricing is one of the most strategically important commercial programs at Amazon Web Services — enabling enterprise customers to accelerate their cloud transformation through multi-year commitments Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent - Experience distilling informal customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives - 5+ years of technical product management experience building and shipping software products - Experience defining product strategy and roadmap for platforms, internal tools, or data/analytics products in partnership with engineering teams - Demonstrated ability to engage in technical discussions with software engineers, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and make build-vs-buy recommendations Preferred: - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools - Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing - Experience in deal management and pricing strategy, or financial consulting - Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings - Experience in successful technology product work from ideation through launch Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
