Senior Product Manager, Selection, JP Books

Amazon Japan is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own and drive the selection strategy and science for JP Books across Kindle and Print Retail. In this high-visibility role, you will define Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Business-level English fluency required and Japanese language is strongly preferred - Proven track record managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and/or countries - Experience influencing technical and non-technical leaders with product roadmaps and strategic recommendations - Experience with data-driven decision-making, including building business cases with financial models, customer acquisition metrics, and competitive analysis - Demonstrated ability in cross-functional project management, including planning, managing multiple priorities, and delegating tasks Preferred: - Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications for automation, reporting, and productivity gains - Experience in media, publishing, entertainment, or content industries - Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment. - Experience working internationally or with international stakeholders/business partners - MBA from top tier school is preferred - Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
