Amazon is building the next generation software, hardware, and processes that will run the global network of fulfillment centers that move many millions of units of inventory, and ensure that customers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering - 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience - 5+ years of in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments experience, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments - Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment - Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays Preferred: - Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools - Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites - Experience with performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality - Experience in Amazon RME (Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering), fulfillment operations, or automation deployment environments - Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
