Amazon is seeking exceptional talent to help develop the next generation of advanced robotics systems that will transform automation at Amazon's scale. We're building revolutionary robotic systems that Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - 7+ years of professional experience designing and constructing mechanical systems for large-scale advanced manufacturing and industrial applications. - Professional design experience spanning HVAC, cooling, and mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing facilities and large-scale industrial plants. - Deep knowledge of mechanical systems including: Dehumidification Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors, Air Handling Units, DOAS Units, Fans/Blowers, and Heat Recovery Systems. - Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ICC codes (Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Energy Conservation, Fuel Gas, Fire), ASHRAE guidelines, SMACNA specifications, NFPA standards, and relevant ASME and ANSI codes. - Proficiency with Revit, Revizto, and Navisworks. Preferred: - Experience delivering mechanical designs through all milestone review stages for large capital construction projects. - Experience collaborating with external EPC firms across bid and project execution phases. - Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers. - Experience producing quantity take-offs and cost estimates under tight deadlines. - Knowledge of mechanical systems including: Chillers, Cooling Towers, process gas/fluid systems, Control Valves and Instrumentation, and Hazardous Exhaust Systems Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
