Senior Manager VAT, Tax Planning Amazon Business

The Senior Manager, VAT will lead VAT advisory and risk management for Amazon Business across its multi-jurisdictional operations. The role combines deep technical VAT expertise with strong commercial Basic qualifications: - professional tax, accounting or legal qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant (CA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) or similar) - Experience liaising with tax authorities including responding to audits and information requests - Experience an indirect tax role in a multinational and/or professional organization - Experience advisory experience in a large accounting/consultancy practice, law firm, tax authority or business in-house. - Knowledge of knowledge of VAT in EU/UK - Experience analyzing and reviewing statutes, regulations, and case law and then extracting data to make appropriate recommendations Preferred: - Experience with accounting concepts and tax regulations, laws and standards - Experience advisory experience in a large accounting/consultancy practice, law firm, tax authority or business in-house.
