Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Search, Security, and Observability

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the AWS Search, Security, and Observability (SSO) Finance team. This role will own end to end finance support including Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience Preferred: - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of Tableau - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
