Senior Finance Analyst , Applied AI Solutions - AWS Connect

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a trusted finance partner for the product leaders in the Connect AI Finance team, within Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) Finance organization. Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis - Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results, or experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience Preferred: - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift) - Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment - 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
