Senior Delivery Consultant - Modernisation, Professional Services

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Sr. Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers Basic qualifications: - Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture - Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system - Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management - Application modernisation patterns and strategies - Containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) - Microservices architecture design and implementation - Serverless computing and event-driven architectures - API design and management - Application refactoring and re-platforming techniques - Cloud-native development practices Preferred: - Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies - Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience - Experience in configuration management using cloudformation, chef & puppet - Experience in large scale migration- data centre to data centre or data centre to cloud infrastructure - Legacy application assessment and decomposition - Database modernisation Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
