We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance - Experience in vendor management, or experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings - High technical competency in electrical systems and understanding the design concept and intent by reviewing electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, pre-functional checklist, startup and functional test scripts, maintainability, construct-ability and commission-ability. vendor submittals and sequences of operations and provide feedback on the same in accordance with Amazon standards for basis of design Preferred: - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Professional Engineering License or equivalent practical experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
