Amazon's fast-scaling Worldwide Retail, Growth and Development (WWRGD) Grocery business is looking for a Senior Category Manager to join the team. In this role, you will drive category-level procurement Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field - Experience with business analysis and P&L management - Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent) Preferred: - Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Knowledge of general AI tools - Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers - 5+ years of negotiations/cost savings, supplier excellence, and risk mitigation experience - 5+ years of category management experience with fixtures and equipment in retail and food production environments, construction, and/or refrigeration. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
